Annual report of the vzbv published
The Federation of German Consumer Organizations (Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband e.V., or vzbv for short) is the umbrella organization of 41 German consumer associations, including the 16 consumer centers in the German states. In its annual report, it gives an account of its activities as a lobbying and umbrella organization. And it is a central element for political agenda setting. An important instrument, whose creative preparation therefore requires special attention.
“Everything in view” – this is the core message of the annual report, which also serves as a creative springboard. The design plays with light and shadow, with vanishing lines, slants and overlapping elements, which adds depth to the overall image despite the two-dimensional style of illustration.
In a playful way, eye-catchers are created and the reader’s focus is drawn to key statements. The design concept allows for the lively layout of the 84-page annual report as a whole, while at the same time the core message remains subliminally present.
The special importance of annual and business reports
Annual and business reports have always held a particularly high status in communication. They are the central instrument for documenting the year’s events – especially in capital market communications.
The combination of an understanding of the content of often complex interrelationships with visual presentation based on a stringent editorial concept is the key to successful annual reports.
