B+D Communications wins Koelnmesse photokina budget
The full-service agency B+D Communications was already able to secure Koelnmesse’s photokina 2018 budget at the beginning of the year after a successful pitch. After a successful run, the Cologne-based agency has now also been entrusted by Koelnmesse with the communicative support of the world’s leading trade fair photokina 2020, which will take place from May 27 to 30, 2020. The budget includes a cross-media communications campaign as well as the further development of the creative concept for the trade fair, which will be held annually starting in 2020.
Together with its subsidiary FSW, the Cologne-based creative develops and implements classic communication measures such as a radio spot, OOH and print ads. In addition, B+D is also responsible for digital advertising measures and dialog communication. The communication addresses not only professionals and exhibitors.
The further development of the communication design makes the appearance much more emotional. In this way, we convey that photokina is not just a trade fair, but wants to attract new target groups and all imaging enthusiasts.

In addition to the budget for the trade fair organizer’s 90th anniversary, this is the second Koelnmesse project that B+D has secured. Another current new client of the agency group is the start-up Twisper.
